US/Israel Violence in Making War with Iran Has Serious Consequences

In a recent March 25 poll, 60% of Americans believe the war with Iran has gone too far. During the
most Holy Week of the Christian church, Trump and Israeli Prime Minister keep on using more violence against
Iran and America has sent troops to the region. President Trump has threatened more
destruction to Iranian infrastructure, which in the end only hurts people living there.

The step into aggressive war and bombardment of Iran which began on February 28, 2026 only shows
how low the American government (under this administration) and the Israeli Zionist regime have stooped.
They pulled the first trigger of violence and humanity will suffer as a result because of their own
selfish desire to control resources, the policies of another country, and the mid-east region. They
violated national sovereignty of another nation. The US which always sides with Israel has now proven
it is a pure satellite of Israel, doing its will and putting American citizens and our troops in harms way; brewing
more bitterness, hatred, terrorism and potential blowback.

According to Jeffrey Lewis of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, “There was no evidence that Iran was close to a nuclear weapon.” After the war’s commencement, other experts maintained similar positions including the International Atomic Energy Agency
(IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi. A ‘threat assessment’ report by U.S. Intelligence agencies in 2025 also echoed the
same findings, estimating that as of June 2025, Iran possessed 441 kilograms of 60 percent enriched uranium.”

On March 17, 2026, Joe Kent, the head of the U.S. National Counterterrorism Center, resigned from the Trump administration. He stated in his resignation letter that, “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation,
and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

Mr. Trump, who references “Jesus” on different occasions and pushes his Religious Liberty Commission,
should do an internal examination of his own conscience and actions. They are not synchronized
with Jesus’ ways as Jesus called for peace and to love your enemy, do good to those who hate you, etc.

His presidency will be known as one of shear desperation for more power for himself and not one that went down
the road of peace. Without humility, all the other key virtues are lost! Shame on this US administration
and Israel’s prime minister who must be called out as “war mongers.”

The Israeli police denied entrance by Cardinal Pizzaballa (head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land) and
Fr. lelpo into the Church of The Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem to say mass on Palm Sunday and the beginning of the most Holy Week of our faith. Quite unbelievable! Why hasn’t the President -who speaks out on religious liberty-
issued any statements of his own on this matter?

The people need to rise up and say: ‘Enough is enough’ on the Iran war, started by the US and Israel.
